At the session, the Vietnamese delegation had a speech on "Circular Economy, Green Consumption and Production, Challenges and Solutions in the implementation in Vietnam" and coordinated the discussion of 3 topics: First is the integrated circular economy approach, second is capacity building, technical and financial support, and third is enhancement of stakeholder involvement.

The Vietnamese delegation had proposed some essential ideas, including setting up an official forum on circular economy and a connection with platforms such as P4G, LEDs, which were currently receiving attention from several member countries. The other idea was to raise climate finance to support the circular economy, enhancing participation and assistance from global and regional organizations, and the role and involvement of the private sector.

Recommendations from Vietnam had received significant attention from UNIDO and this was the basis for implementing the circular economy in the region in the coming time./.
