Ambassador Robyn Mudie noted the close cooperation between the MPI and Australian Embassy in Vietnam has created many achievements over the past time. The increasingly growing relationship between Vietnam-Australia is reflected through 22.2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine and 14.4 million COVID-19 paediatric vaccine doses that Australia sponsored for Vietnam. Mudie affirmed the Australian Government will continue to support and strengthen economic cooperation with Vietnam.

The Australian government has helped Vietnamese agencies to carry out economic restructuring, renew growth models and improve the investment environment through the Aus4Reform, in collaboration with Central Institute for Economic Management (MPI).

Mudie expressed her hope that Australia will become one of the top ten trading partners of Vietnam and double the two-way trade turnover.
